Is anyone else having tremors so bad even with meds and supplements that they can't even take a decent picture??? I'm seriously frustrated with being on the max dose of meds and still noticably Shakey to others to the point that people keep coming up to me and asking if I'm ok. It's embarrassing!! I get asked if I'm diabetic, if I have MS, and I'd they need to call an ambulance!?!!?!?!... It's embarrassing!!! Just frustrated. Maybe I should replace an amusement park generator and call it the… read more

I haven't had an issue with tremors but I understand the frustration. Don't be embarrassed...Easier said. Like DannyTravis I had the issue getting my wallet out of my left pocket to pay for things and I was embarrassed - it was more of a complex thinking people behind me were aware I had something funky going on (I guess I do). To make the complex worse I'd turn to leave the counter and my left foot would be stuck to the floor...It would feel like my legs were forcing me to do a split (ouch! never!). Meds made that better but the answer was right in front of me. Move my wallet to my dominant right side. It comes out of my pocket easier now...I'll still fumble with cash and cards at times but I've conditioned myself to not worry about people waiting behind me. So don't be embarrassed, as frustrating as it is I'm glad to see you've nicknamed yourself - a good sense of humor goes a long way. I do wish you well. I'm sure the tremors are frustrating. Maybe DBS, maybe something else. I've only been in the PD game for a short time and there doesn't seem to be a lack of research. So maybe they'll be something new you can try.

Keep smiling! Hang in there.

Yes, yes, and again, yes I have tremors that start shortly after I wake up, all day long, until going to sleep. Of course, my meds do help, but not all the way. On November 3rd. of this year, I am having a procedure done called a Focused Ultrasound on my brain. It's directed at the infected part of the brain that causes the tremors. Look into it. I'd rather have this than DBS. God bless.😄

Have you looked into DBS surgery? My left dominant side was so bad before the surgery. Now it is 100% free of tremors!! A true miracle!!

So sorry for the embarrassing tremors. They are so annoying. Not sure what you can do. You probably enjoy photograph and taking picturesis something you like.
