C/L should be spaced as far from meals as possible. Protein interferes with the proper absorption of the drug, making it less effective. I find that a reminder is the best way to accomplish that.

Hi Sue: I take my C/L 4x a day @ 930a. 1p 445p & 945p. Everyone is different. But you should stick to the same schedule & always take them on an empty stomach.

Your in the right place for a pill organizing discussion. There are many clever ways to organize pills that people here have come up with.

I use the standard two pill organizer system for most of my pills. Two weeks worth of pills separated day and night. I have them on the beside table and take them when I get into and out of bed.

The C/L I put in a pocket sized pill case that I carry with me and I take them when an alarm rings 3 times though out the day.
