The fainting may come from the medication. I take C/L(5xs a day and Entacapone.1/2 tablet 4xs a day. Not only do I get fainting spells when I stand, however I get fainting spells from time-to-time even while I'm sitting.

I believe that it is called postural hypotension.

I found that low blood pressure can make me feel faint. To counter this I drink about 60 oz of water or sports drink a day. I have found this to help me. Good luck!

Medication and Parkinson's can bring this on. I medicate myself around-the-clock every 3 hours but sometimes sleep through a dose so I'm really off...you really have to pay attention to your body and the changes from medication and Parkinson's.
