I definitely have REM sleep and Parky sleep.

The change for me is before I always had REM sleep. Today the slightest bit of stress before going to sleep has me sleeping restless and tossing. So much so my wife is concerned about the large difference.

Me either I get a total of 5 hours of sleep a night and can't take a nap at all.

It is not a given that Parkinson’s patients are moving during REM sleep. However, we do have a higher likelihood of that being the case. In which case your Fitbit will not record this as REM sleep.

When you move during REM sleep and even act out your dreams, this is called REM sleep disorder RSD.

Instead of telling you this is why your Fitbit isn’t recording your REM sleep, he should have sent you for a sleep study to find out exactly what’s going on.

I have a fitbit and it registers Rem--Light--awake--deep.
