@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member - you can get genetic testing to see if you carry one of the PD genes, but that only accounts for 5-10%. If you were on certain psychiatric medications or had a traumatic brain injury or were exposed to Agent Orange or herbicides you might assume that they could be the reason, but it also could be none of the above. Some things are likely to cause Parkinson's, but a lot of people have no obvious reason for their particular disease.

Im not sure if you can answer my question but here it is
I have been diagnosed with having Parkinson’s disease but how did I get it they say there is no no way of knowing for sure is that true
