By the end of the day I am shaking again, head bobbing, falling when turning around, and loosing my train of thought. I know that I have had tremors for over 25 years, off and on, and been falling for the past 5 years, so my diagnosis last month came as no surprise.
Parkinson’s is caused by a lack of dopamine in the brain. C/L is a replacement dopamine. Therefore it can affect every symptom of Parkinson’s. Different people will get different results and it depends on how well your dosage is tailored to your needs.
Dale what are all symptoms that carbo/levo impact? My understanding was that it did not improve balance but I keep seeing posts that say otherwise
Primidone will stop tremors, but nothing else. It isn’t a very good medication for Parkinson’s. They normally prescribed some form if Carbidopa/ Levidopa, which treats many symptoms of Parkinson’s.
