Can it be cured ?
If not, what medicines prescribed for good health .
I've been having complications with Parkinson's for about 17 years. Remember this and remember this well. You should do three things. Exercise a good time with low protein and faith in God. That's what I believe in.
Have you seen a neurologist or a Parkinson’s specialist? You definitely should see a physician for help with meds. Sinemet, aka cardadopa/levadopa is the first line of medicine prescribed for Parkinson’s. Or at least it is best to my knowledge. But again, you should definitely need professional help managing your meds.
Your fear is justified. Learning to live day-to-day and put what ifs out of your mind is one of the most difficult parts of this disease. I wish you well with the struggle we all face
Parkinson's can't be cured, yet. Medications like carbidopa can help with symptoms. If they get really bad, Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) may help. There is a lot of research going on now, so there is hope that progress is being made on understanding and treating the disease.
