We recently had a week of really cold weather (i.e. -3 actual temp and -30 wind chill). My dad was NOT outside during this time, but usually the house just doesn't stay as warm when it's that cold. I was wondering if anyone else has noticed that their symptoms worsen during cold weather . . . especially stiffness, mobility and balance issues?

Cold weather is not fun as it adds to the stiffness. SO I work out 2 -3 times a day for 30 minutes. seems to help

Thank you for your responses! It's good to know that this is a common thing with Parkinsons.

I also struggle more in extreme cold (and Ottawa can be COLD) or extreme heat. Given that I can work remotely my husband and I are experimenting with spending this month of January in Mexico City where the temperature hovers midday around 21/22 … it also helps to get you outside walking/moving

I am worse in wet damp weather, and more so when the barometer is changing.

I don’t do well in cold or hot weather. I do best when the temp is between 68 and 72 degrees. That doesn’t happen much here in Maine.
