Anyone dealing with REM sleep behavior disorder? If so, please see my update for the morning. I had a very crazy Thursday night and I am hoping for some insight or opinions or whatever. Medication is no longer getting me through the night or even covering a few hours of my sleep. I understand this is a progressive part of the process for some of us, maybe most of us???
I would love to have mine stop being a part of my routine. My wife and I have been in different rooms for a few years now based on her snoring and her CPAP machine and my YOPD, even prior to knowing that I had it. I was up and down all night long and would disturb rest. I am thankful to say that I don't think I've been too terribly violent excluding this most recent encounter of reaching out and grabbing at things trying to "get out of the pool" in the dream/nightmare. Otherwise, I'm thinking that my emotional support puppies that just turned 11 months would probably not want to sleep with me anymore. I am very happy to hear that you have not encountered such violent tendencies anymore though. I hope that remains your consistent future.
Thank you for sharing!
I had this for a short period and f time, and then it stopped. I didn’t change a thing.
For me it manifested as acting out my dreams. I was punching my wife, and that didn’t go over well, then it stopped. No idea why.
I sometimes have dreamlike visions as soon as I close my eyes. I call them my “Previews of Coming Attractions”. I sometimes catch myself acting these out and I simply open my eyes.
