I try to get enough sleep and stay hydrated. But on some days I'm just weak in the knees. I get dizzy while I am standing. I'm ok when I first stand. It happens while I have been standing for awhile.

Low blood pressure can contribute and the medication so hydration with water helps. Parkinson’s can affect the inner ear and I seem to get vertigo monthly which can really cause dizziness.
JulieOlson2 - I am glad you don't have high blood pressure. I think that is a condition that is often misdiagnosed. My 94-year-old mom hated to have her blood pressure taken because the cuff hurt her arm. Her readings were always abnormally high because she was upset. When they started using a wrist cuff, they found she had normal BP & stopped prescribing high blood meds. Her dizziness went away. It has come back recently because she spends all her time lying around on the couch.
Mountain woman ♀️ I don't have high blood pressure!!
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member & @A MyParkinsonsTeam Member - sometimes Dr's & pharmacists forget that one of the side effects of many PD meds is to lower your blood pressure. Get a home blood pressure kit & keep a log of what your BP is at various times of day but especially when you feel dizzy. Show your BP log to your Dr at your next appointment as well as any observations you have made about your BP, such as if it is low a certain # of minutes after taking a particular PD med. Your Dr may want to lower the dose of your BP meds or wean you off of them entirely. Dizzy is to be avoided! Stay Safe!
Simple buildup of ear wax can cause similar problems. I find I like to sit down now & then for a minute or so
