Hi Maryann, i am a caregiver for my wife and i do have highs and lows with my emotions about what is going on with my wife. i do not take any meds for this but i have found out when that happens to me i try to get around my friends and we just sit and talk about what is going on with us. some of my friends are also caregivers and so we face some of the same issues with the emotional highs and lows. i also do try to exercise more and harder than i do when i am feeling low and it seems to work for me. do you belong to a PD support group? we do and when my wife is having this problem she will contact someone from our group and they will talk about her problem and this seems to work for her. i hope this answer might help you in some way, take care and God Bless.
