he drinks plenty of water daily, thinking that might be the answer but no luck. I noticed an article about symptoms included the phrase "sensory problems". What can I do besides rubbing lotion on him?

My husband has to take Zyrtec daily and that controls his itchy skin. Per his neurologist. If he stops taking it he starts getting itchy in a day or two.
