While C/L helps with tremors, I have found no relief for muscle pain. Does a magnesium supplement help?

I use salonpas patches for my fibromyalgia pain. Most anti-inflammatory meds tear my stomach up. He's used tens unit for his back, but that has to be reset every 15 minutes so unless he gets to sleep quickly it has to be reset. Sometimes just plain old massage helps.
ps him drift off to sleep or relax.

Hi DavidBrown3, I had major problems with muscle spasms that HURT(!!) so bad at night all I could do was get up and walk or just cry. My neurologist put me on baclofen, requip, and finally gabapentin. Between the three of these meds, my muscle spasms are under control and not some thing that keeps me awake anymore, let alone makes me cry! I don’t know if your doctor would recommend these, but you can ask. I wish you many nights of peaceful sleep!
