I started taking Sinemet at the end of April and was thrilled with the results however in the past week I have had breakthrough restless leg symptoms. Last night was awful. I have had control over these for years and now I am questioning if I should continue with the Sinemet. Could it be causing this?
Neurologist consult is a absolute must, but learning of others therapies and treatments has informed me and made me able to advocate and ask questions myself.
All drugs have side effects... heck half say they can do what your trying to help with...
Mirapex has been good for me, it also can increase mood and lessen depression. Good luck!
Yes. It’s a symptom of the drug called augmentation. RLS actually gets worse, not better.
Talk to your Neurologist. There are other drugs.

I have an appointment at the end of this month....can't wait to see how that goes. Fortunately my husband is coming with me.
I think we should all consult with our neurologist before adjusting medication. I hope this helps.
