Malignant Melanoma And Parkinson's
I have not personally read anything that made a definitive connection between melanoma and Parkinson's, or any type of Cancer for that matter.
I have Prostate Cancer, it' in remission and under active surveillance, but I also have Parkinson's.
Why do I have both? It's highly possible both are due to the same type of chemical exposure decades ago. It's equally possible they're both related to a combination of heredity, environment, and age. It's also just as plausible that they are totally unrelated and separate issue's. I personally know more people who have Cancer without Parkinson's than people with Parkinson's who have Cancer.
I think more information concerning the mechanisms of Parkinson's and Cancer would be needed before one can be blamed for or associated with the other.
It's easy to blame Parkinson's for anything and everything, but keep in mind that the largest commonality with most Parkinson's patients is their elderly status.
