Re Sinemet. Is There Another C/L Brand Or Replacement?

Has anyone experienced withdrawal sickness from reducing amount of sinemet (C/L)? Dr keeps telling me i need more C/L but more makes me feel sick too! Toxic? Is there a better C/L pill than sinemet?

The VA sends us Carbedopa/levidopa 25/100 with no use of the SINEMET name at all. It has never caused my husband any negative reactions at all in 6 years. Makes me wonder IF your sinemet is a generic and you MIGHT benefit from just c/l with no generics?!?
Could you be reacting to some small additive in the Sinimet rather than C/L itself.

Well I never could hold Sinemet down; I vomited 3 hours on the smallest dosage. There a drug Rytary but since I have atypical parkinsonism the usual PD. drugs don’t help anyway.. I know others on this site do.
