Hi Dale, your activity in sleep may actually be a sleep disorder called RBD. It is very common among people who have Parkinson’s Disease. Most people are partially paralyzed when they sleep so they don’t act out their dreams. In people with RBD that paralysis is faulty and you start to act out your dreams. You may talk, yell, scream, hit, punch, or kick. Frequently the dreams are upsetting like you are defending yourself from being attacked. It is actually very easy to treat. Some people respond to a high dose of Melatonin. Others do better on a benzodiazepine such as Clonazapam (not sure if I got the spelling right). Talk to your neurologist about being evaluated or treated for RBD. Both you and your wife will sleep much better if you are being treated.
I have hit my wife in my sleep. I have very active sleep sometimes and i thrash around.
My personality has changed since diagnosis, and I’m not always the sweet person I once was.
I wish I had more to offer on fixing this. I’m attaching a link that explains it, but doesn’t offer much for fixing it.

There are some treatments for the delusions and hallucinations. Talk to his neurologist.
I went into hospital for a few days in 2011. They tried me on apomorphine , it was like water unfortunately, did nothing. That's when I was accepted for Duo dopa 😁
Seroquel wasn’t working so doctor switched him to rivastigmine. Think we need something else.
