- Fava beans contain levodopa. Should I eat them for PD
Fava beans are a natural source of levodopa which is sometimes prescribed to manage PD related symptoms but it is unclear how much the beans contain, how your body might absorb and if your symptoms might respond. Thanks Luka and my wife says thank you too! She and one her sisters is incorporating your recipe suggestions with Ethiopian spices. Being from Ireland and having spent much time over the years in Ethiopia, I’ve come to love their dishes, especially their Wot (chicken) dishes. Now I’m hungry!
