My husband Marty is probably at stage 5 with his disease. He has tremors from his mouth to his feet. Rytary not working well these days. He takes Clonazapam to help chill out, but even so he struggles with body pain. I’m sure it’s due to the constant shaking, which creates muscle fatigue and tightness. I give him Tylenol and/or ibuprofen. We’ve tried some pain meds with no relief.
Marftin5, do you have restless legs? When I am very tired, especially in the evening, or sometimes on a cramped airplane, I experience restless legs. And, yes sometimes my legs feel heavy and slow. That is usually when the C/L or now Rytary is wearing off. I take 0.5 mg of Pramipexole, a little before bedtime. It definately helps. I am completely miserable, until I can get to sleep, on the occassions I ran out, or just forgot to take it.
I was told to drink more water and that helped my leg and feet pain. Don’t have any
Suggestions for tremors etc. except tell your doctor asap.
