We have Medicare but out of pocket still over $1K annually

Try the Parkinson's Assistance Fund. They covered my HWP's copay for Northera when we couldn't afford them because there was not a generic formulary. You may have to get on a waiting list, but they will be flipping over soon when the new year begins.
