I'm not an apple person either I have a Samsung alert phone you get calls of course but you can text but I got it has a fall alert if I fall it will call my wife if no answer after 15 seconds it will try my son if he doesn't answer it calls 911 you can also cancel the calls if need

KIMP, good question. Thanks for asking it. I haven't made the move to an apple watch. I was able to change the time to answer a call under settings on my phone because my family and friends also worry when I don't answer. I hope folks have great suggestions. for the watch.
