Everyone on this feed who has experienced or has RLS, dystonia, or dyskinesia I might have some hope for you. After 2 years of muscle spasms in calves, and feet, “from heavy use of CL”, some lasting almost thru the nite, causing toe curl in both feet , my father told me about a prescription he has for RLS.’ He was taking 0.125 mg of Pramipexole Dihydrochloride tabs “one a day”My doctor prescribed me same dosage but really didn’t help. When I told him, he upped it to 0.5 mg , 3 times a day. Very Happy to say, problem solved. What a God sent.
I really hope this helps all of you.’

Best,
Mark Johnson

According to an article published by NIH on movement disorders:
Movement disorders involve multiple pathophysiological processes and anatomical pathways. Since these disorders can be the presenting symptoms, they may aid in early diagnosis and managing the patient, including monitoring disease progression. Treatment of these disorders is a challenge. The most prevalent movement disorders include restless leg syndrome (RLS), tremor, ataxia, parkinsonism, paroxysmal dyskinesias, dystonia, chorea and ballism, facial myokymia, facial spasm and spastic paretic hemifacial contracture, tics, and tourettism.

Based on this article from NIH, both of these movements are among the most common. I'm not sure how the 2 would be different or what diagnosis they would lead to but I get restless legs when I do not go into REM sleep. I get dystonia when I take too much C-L (dopamine). Exercise, a sleep aid and a weighted blanket helps reduce restless leg syndrome and reducing the amount of dopamine i take stops dystonia.

In my opinion, like most things related to PD Les, this is great question but there seems to be no great answer.
