So what replaces Levadopa if only carbadopa is prescribed?
From what I understand carbidopa by itself is not effective for Parkinson's. It's job is to help levodopa across the blood brain barrier to become Dopamine.
I’m not sure??
I’m not sure what that means but I read that carbadopa creates a path for the Levadopa to break through the Barrier
Carbadopa fights for the levadopa to get to the brain
