Fortunately I have a great physio so I only have a positive view of physiotherapy. I guess that it sometimes takes time to find the right person as part of your med team.
Thanks so much for your answer. You sometimes wonder if things that are happening to you are related to Parkinson’s or something else.
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member I too get pain all over when the medicine has worn off. Before I was on carbidopa/levodopa I had frozen shoulder in both arms. 😣 This is extremely uncomfortable and painful and took me 8 months to raise my arms to wash my hair much less anything else. Yes, without medicine my body tightened up, gets rigid and hurts.
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member I have been hurt by a PT and. The exercises themselves make my pain so much worse. I have to find one that knows what they are doing and haven’t yet. They scare me.
I should say that the physiotherapist uses massage.
