Hallucinations are not uncommon.

Frequently I see something moving out of the corner of my eye. Sometimes it appears as a person.

Auditory hallucinations are hearing sounds that are not there.

Olfactory hallucinations are when you smell things that aren't there. Commonly people with olfactory hallucinations smell cigarette smoke where no one has smoked.

If you have any of these types of hallucinations don't worry you're not crazy you just have PD. Of course PD can drive you crazy.

You're right, looking at it straight on is the best way to tell if it's real or not.

When I have hallucinations that seem real I usually ask my wife if she sees it too. When she tells me that there's nothing there I feel better. But if ever comes a time where she sees him too then I know we will be in real trouble.

Yes it's a strange place to be it seems so real.

I've had them occasionally.

I thought I was but they turned out to be floaters in my eye. I saw things that flashed by. When I went to have my eyes checked for glasses, Dr said that I have floaters. Yay, no hallucinations. But I could never get my kinda doctor to even discuss the possibility of discontinuing anything. Many Blessings 🙌 🙏 ,
