Man the Tablet corrected her name. It was Ruba. Not Rural. That would be too strange. Daddy was the only one who called her Ruba and I called her Mother. Daddy told me to. Many Blessings to all of my forever Parkie friends and family, JudyTx 🌹

Jeannette, what a beautiful name. My Mother had a beautiful name also. Rural. It seemed like everyone called her Ruby. Not quite the unique sound of her name. I asked her why I had a boring, yucky name. She insisted that Judy was a very pretty name. Oh well, I have had it for 72 years and I doubt it will ever change. I will always hear her calling "Judy Dianne" with a distinctive Texas drawl. When the other kids heard her coming outside they knew she had a fly swatter with her. She was not afraid to use it. None of the others knew that she never used it. JudyTx 🌹
