An article I read said the accuracy of the punch biopsy in a couple of trials was over 90%. It doesn't differentiate between Parkinson's and MSA or DLB though, since they all have the same issue with a certain protein.

It's a relatively new test (started being used this year or late last) where they take tissue samples from your shoulder, hip & calf & they look for a certain protein that is supposed to be indicative of Parkinson's. I have read varying reports on it's accuracy & wanted to know of anyone else's experience w/ it.
