Members dealing with intense itching, especially of the scalp and at night, shared that this is a common and frustrating experience linked to Parkinson's, with many noting it is connected to skin conditions like seborrheic dermatitis and autonomic nervous system changes. Several members shared helpful remedies including baby oil or apple cider vinegar in bath water, tea tree oil on the scalp, CeraVe and Nivea moisturizing washes, dandruff shampoos, and avoiding regular soaps that can worsen dryness. A recurring theme was that dermatologist visits are worthwhile, and one member noted that melatonin can also cause itching as a side effect.

Tea Tree oil on the scalp helps, wash out in the morning.

Julie597 nailed it. Try 2 cups of apple cider vinegar (ACV) in your bath. Soak for 20 minutes. Don’t rinse it off. It neutralizes the PH in your skin

Yes, I itch mostly at night. Like the idea of baby oil in bath water.
