Play in the water hose and pretend I'm watering 😋 my 🐕 loves it too
Yes, I do believe the heat is a bothersome with Parkinson’s. There’s a lot I can not do on Hot Days. I get very light headed, dizziness and cannot be outside for a long time. I drink plenty of water and sit in the shade when I go outside.
But not long. I go nuts being in doors all day.
It’s very hard having this disease
Some like it hot some like it cold I like it just right.
Definitely. I live in scorching AZ and the heat in summer definitely affects me. Extremely tiring. When you have PD, it affects the autonomic nervous system, which interferes with your body's ability to regulate temperatures.
Some of us lose the ability to regulate body temperature. Too hot very bad, too cold the same. Also any part of our autonomic nervous system can be affected. In my case BP and HR. Same thing may be implicated in gastrointestinal issues.
