To Sylvia, why twice?

My neurologist recommended that i was a candidate, i wish i would have done sooner! after almost a year i had two surgeries,
Firstly i did my research on the device and choose the Medtronic my implant date was may 03/2023 that was the first surgery in this 3 step process.
secondly i had a device generator installed in my chest and connected to my head
lastly after three months my numerologist turned it on ....
MY opinion it was amazing, all the exercising i was doing, i progressively got worse and worse . If i listen to everyone and took their advise i would still be having my wife help dress me .
This is not a cure however it is as close to normalcy as possible .
I can sleep again , text , ride a bike run, i am still a work in progress!

I've had it done twice & I would commend it to anyone who is a cadet to have it done it stooped my shaking almost straight away!

My husband is scheduled to have this in Dec. is there anyone out there that has had this done and are willing to share your pros and cons of DBS?
