It seems there might be a typo in your question. If you're asking about "Carbidopa" and its timing with meals, here's the answer:
You should take Carbidopa/Levodopa 30 minutes to one hour before eating a meal for better absorption. If taken after eating, wait at least 60 minutes. Avoid high-protein foods close to your Show Full Answer
RolDonie2, I take Carbidopa/Levodopa 4 pills per day, along with a Neupro patch every day. I usually set my clock for a 6:30 wake up for the first pill. I try to give myself 30 to 45 minutes before eating. I space them out over the rest of the day. I take my last pill at 10: 00 pm. The patch that I wear all day I take off at 10:00 pm before going to bed. A couple of times I left it on I really had a restless night. After I got up and removed it I fell right back to sleep. I was given several different kinds of medicine before this combination. I have been on this regime for over a year. There are some days you cannot even tell I have PD. I am so thankful to my Neurologist for never giving up to find my right combination. I am adding you to my team, if you have any more questions please feel free to contact me. If I don’t have an answer there are many that have been in this program a while. Everyone is very helpful and will help you find your answers. At the bottom of our messages is a section called Resources where there is an enormous amount of articles on PD. Hope this will help you as you venture down the road of PD.
