We have spent a lot of money on items to assist with eating , tremors and mobility. Most of it was wasted; some of it worked for a time. We are currently shopping for a wheelchair conversion van. I’d love to hear from care givers in particular about what is working for you.

For specific advice about wheelchair conversion vans and other mobility equipment, you can start a conversation on your Activities page to connect directly with others who have made similar purchases. This can help you make more informed decisions before investing in expensive equipment. Before making any significant equipment purchases, it's recommended to consult with your healthcare provider for appropriate recommendations based on specific needs and symptoms. They can often provide guidance on which adaptive equipment might be most beneficial for your particular situation and may be able to connect you with occupational therapists who specialize in assistive technology for Parkinson's.
