The timing of when you take protein-containing supplements in relation to your carbidopa/levodopa medication is crucial. It's best to discuss adding any new supplements, including collagen, with your doctor who can provide personalized advice about timing and whether it's appropriate for your specific situation. Remember that supplements are not as strictly regulated as medications by the FDA. This means supplement contents may vary from what's listed on the label. Always get your doctor's approval before starting any new supplement to ensure it won't interfere with your Parkinson's treatment plan.
