Yes, there are several financial resources available to help manage Parkinson's-related expenses. Many hospitals and medical practices offer support services that can help you navigate financial assistance options. This may include working with patient liaisons or nurse navigators who can connect you with available resources and programs.

If managing medical expenses feels overwhelming, consider asking a trusted family member, friend, or patient advocate to help you explore and apply for financial assistance programs. Veterans may be eligible for VA benefits that can help cover care costs. Additionally, some people may qualify for hospice services or other home care assistance programs. It's recommended to speak with a social worker who can help identify specific programs and assistance options you may be eligible for based on your situation.

Ask your insurance company.Ask your state. Don't ask MPT admin. You just said Thank you to a computer...the admins don't answer. And so far I've found ZIP support from any Parkinson's group. But I got medicaid, medicafre, and i have an advantage plan. So don't count on paid assistance. Assisted living will take your entire SS check for payment. My old Humana didn't pay one cent towards a patient Care person (no degree, just a license). When I got my first $6,000 bill, I decided to go it alone. GET a MEDICARE ADVANTAGE PLAN.
