Staying asleep is the most difficult thing for me. I’ve always been a morning person but once I’m up there’s no falling back to sleep. Forcing myself to take a 20 minute nap helps. I don’t need much more than 5-6 hours anymore, I’ve learned to adapt.

Insomnia is one of my most troubling symptoms. I've tried all the things because I have been dealing with it for at least 20 years. If I get 6 hours I am really happy. THC drops really help.

My movement specialist. Adjusted my Carbadopa Levadopia added an ER( time release CL). Instead of every 5 hrs now every 4.

- Light therapy
- Sleep medications (both prescription and over-the-counter)
- Deep brain stimulation (in some cases) Improving sleep hygiene is essential. Here are key tips:

Do:
- Maintain a consistent sleep schedule
- Dim lights in the evening
- Use relaxation techniques
- Get sunlight during the day
- Exercise regularly

Avoid:
- Daytime naps
- Nicotine and alcohol
- Evening caffeine
- Eating before bed
- Screen time before bedtime
- Using bed for activities other than sleep

Remember that some medications that cause insomnia can also treat it, so work closely with your healthcare provider to find the right balance.
