Reading before lights-out (clears mind of daily issues and TV), two Tylenol PM (blue) tabs, Breathe Right nose strip, sleep socks, two pillows, sleep on side (never on back). Cut back on late alcohol, sugar & politics. Mattress most important.
I have not been able to sleep until 3 or 4am. I usually don't wake up til 10:30-11am. I don't like wasting my day, but right now it's the best I can do! I take medical marijuana orally and it does help me fall asleep if I take it early enough in the evening and go to bed soon after. I've never been an early riser, but now I cannot wake up before 7-10 hrs of sleep.
I always give myself a candy with 25 mg of CBD (cannabidiol) about 20 minutes before bed.THC-free.

I suffer from insomnia, my docs have always said get sleep when you can. I normally go to bed around 4:30-5:00am and back up around 8. I try catch a nap in the afternoon or after supper.
