have 2nd opinion in July. with another neurologist reviewing my scans.with me present. First doctor seemed reluctant to give diagnosis; He beat around the bush too much.
I need to request my medical records from his hospital. Pt. Portal a hassle to access.

Sorry for your pain and discomfort . Neck and shoulders scans of left side very vulnerable .. I think much has to do with age as well. I was falling a lot before my diagnosis, in 2020 but never really hurt except for bruising. Balance is still a problem. but I walk only indoors holding on to things. An article. In this site says. That 80% of us have pain.❤️

I also have pain in the left shoulder and often the left arm has spasms causing it to lift away from the body My husband massages the shoulder with black seed oil which helps. Does anyone use NorflexCo for spasms?

I am glad you have found some ways to alleviate the pain.Neck pain is hard to deal with since it affects so much of your body.

It is so easy to blame everything the body experiences on PD. A lot of the so-called "symptoms" of PD are actually side effects of the PD meds. But I too have had excruciating neck pain. Now I wonder whether it was long driving or poor sleeping position or whether I actually should be blaming the PD. Ibuprofen & Ben Gay help, so does a good chiropractor. Every day I do the exercises the chiropractor gave me, especially helpful to do them under a hot shower or better yet in front of a jet in a mineral hot springs. Something else that helps is a better pillow. I like a down or feather pillow because they are moldable. Too big a pillow or too stiff makes it worse. A memory foam chiropractic pillow with a larger place for under the neck is great too. A soft cervical pillow filled with styrofoam beads helps when sitting on a high-backed chair & when driving.
