I am in my 14th year of dx with PD. I was very active prior to and during my first 10 years and with medication could function near normal. For the last 4 years, I cared for my husband who had MSA. First, please accept condolences for the loss of your husband. It's understandable to feel discouraged, but returning to exercise after a long break, especially with Parkinson's disease, requires patience and gradual progression.
