I have several different pain creams that afford me some relief. The relief isn’t earth shattering, but it does allow me to get some sleep.

I have had that problem in my neck as well. I learned long ago that women carry their stress in the shoulders. This leads to severely stressed muscles. Our muscles get knots in them and cause a tremendous amount of pain. Now I receive pressure point shots. Cortisone shots in the muscles around my neck and shoulders. That lasts me 6 months.

@Wanda232, Every time I've taken cortisone for anything, it has the exact opposite reaction on than what it was intended for. I had a cortisone shot for pain in my ankle about 30 years ago. They had to put a cast on my ankle and foot so I could walk afterwards.
