Especially when waiting for the next meds? I've been awake since 5.30, meds due at 8.00. It's 7.45 now, but feels like I've been awake a whole day...
How are you passing the time? I decided to do some small chores. I've had something of an epiphany in this regard; if I do things that need to be done, but I don't enjoy while I am feeling "off", then the result is roughly the same...okay it may take me longer and maybe the dishes aren't QUITE as thoroughly clean, but the chore is done.
Conversely if I attempt to do something that I WANT to do because I enjoy it, then it's ruined by the symptoms.
So I won't use my "on" time doing chores.
Even thinking about this makes me smile a little. I suggest everyone tries it, even if getting up out of your armchair to do the chore feels like climbing Kilimanjaro.
Yes…. I understand. One of the neurologists where I go is a bit more relaxed than the other. My primary neurologist is stricter than the other. I was having trouble waking up with my legs ridged and painful and then not being able to get back to sleep My doc asked the other what he would. recommend -He says just take one capsule right at bedtime( usually a dose for me is 2 capsules). So that’s what I do now and it works great!.

I try to keep active in off times. It seems to help get thru the pain or discomfort
Whenever I'm having pain, I will do chores. The one I hate the most is cleaning the Cat boxes, but once I get that done, I always feel so much better. And yes I feel like time goes by very slowly too and not because of medication, but just in general. Pace of life is a lot slower these days. Not always a bad thing. :-)
