Hi I’m Ken. I too have hyper sexuality. I find I can’t control my thoughts and find i look at pornography a lot. I’m too old for this stuff at 69. I feel a lot of guilt about it.

Good morning Jim from the UK !
A very important question to be asking. If your sexual desires have increased speak to someone at that point. Once those desires move to compulsion and addiction, all I can say is I hope you find the courage to ask for help. DO NOT LIVE IN SECRECY See my story 🙂

Most people with Parkinson's actually experience decreased sexual desire and other sexual difficulties. If you're noticing significant changes in your sexual desire, especially if it feels compulsive or is causing problems in your life, you should discuss this with your healthcare provider. Your doctor may need to adjust your medication if increased sexual desire is causing distress or leading to risky behaviors. Treatment options are available, including medication adjustments and therapy. Some MyParkinsonsTeam members have reported experiencing similar changes in libido, particularly when transitioning between medications.
