Yes my husband talks in his sleep and uses his hands all the time. I just push him away and tell him to go and make a cup of tea 😄 (wife)

This sounds like REM sleep behavior disorder, which is commonly associated with Parkinson's disease. During this disorder, people may act out their dreams by moving, talking, or gesturing while sleeping. This can happen during both daytime naps and nighttime sleep. This condition can potentially lead to injury for both the person with Parkinson's and their bed partner. It's important to discuss these sleep behaviors with your doctor or neurologist, as they can recommend appropriate safety measures and treatments. The symptoms may also contribute to daytime sleepiness and affect overall brain function during waking hours.

I talk in my sleep and sometimes yell for help. Never remember what the dream is about but also thrash about and end up with the bedding wrapped around me. I’ve been by myself in the guest room for over a year
