I’m fine when I’m out running errands getting groceries.
But once I come home and unload groceries, change clothes, I will get a horrible back spasm. The thing is I don’t know if it’s the Parkinson’s because I can still walk. I don’t have dystonia,

It feels like it’s my nerves, but also right now my sacrum is extremely tight.

There are exercises that you can do to strengthen the back muscles. You could get a referral to a Physical Therapist. Good luck.

These symptoms may also be caused by a bulging disc. You may want to check into this before it ruptures.

The fact that it occurs after activity tends to lean towards a back issue. I have Parkinson’s, and I’ve also had back problems for fifty years.

@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member I think it’s piriformis syndrome.

What’s the plan for dealing with the bulging disc? I had surgery at L4 - L5. I had subsequent surgery at L5 - S-1 .

I would have been better off with conservative treatment rather than the first surgery.
