Members living with Parkinson's disease connected over the very relatable struggle of forgetting whether they took their medication, with many agreeing that brain fog and short-term memory loss make managing pills incredibly hard. Several members shared helpful strategies like pill organizers, monthly pill towers, small containers filled each morning, detailed medication charts with time logs, and phone alarms, though some noted they still forget even with reminders. A recurring theme was the comfort of not feeling alone in this challenge, with many members leaning on caregivers or partners to help track medications and keep routines on track.

I use little Tupperware containers. Fill every morning. Those little pill boxes are too small for all my supliments. Takes about 5 minutes.. But it makes me get up and move.

I don't know what happened today. @A MyParkinsonsTeam Member always gives me my medicines at 7:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. Sometimes I remember and sometimes he remembers. Today, I thought about my afternoon medicine which is only my Rytary, but it was only 12:30. I had tired myself out at the computer and went back to bed. I don't remember much else until 4:something when my husband told me that I needed to answer my phone which was sounding off right next to me. My son was calling to ask for help getting his car towed to a mechanic. After the phone call, I asked Bart if I had taken my afternoon Rytary. I had not. Neither of us know what distracted us. Bart reminded me that I did eat lunch. I remember what I ate, and that I finished it, which is not always the case, but I don't know what time that was. Now, it is 12:42 a.m. and I can't sleep.

Lately I’ve been doing the same thing. I set my alarms on my phone to take my meds on time But then I went to depend on hearing it and sometimes I’m not in range so I forgot to take my pills and I’m all screwed up parkinson’s sucks And I feel like no one understands.
