I've been on Prozac or Zoloft for many years. Is that what caused my PT???
My DIP was triggered by a Calcium Channel Blocker called Flunarazine.
I was taking it to manage Hemiplegic Migraines. This type of Migraine is very rare and difficult to treat.
Flunarazine is not available in the US because DIP is a possible side effect. (Used a Canadian pharmacy)
It resolved the Hemiplegic Migraines - a miracle! I was taken off of it when the PD symptoms appeared.
The MDS Neurologist diagnosed me with DIP. Usually the Parkinson's symptoms go away by 12 - 18 months.
However, my symptoms progressed instead. So then I was diagnosed with Intrinsic PD.
