Does anyone use a water drinking app and which one works best? I tend to forget to stay hydrated and suffer the consequences with my bowels later( not good)

I use three 32 oz refillable water bottles with the flip up lid and straw inside. I fill two of them every morning with water and set them by my chair. I also have one by my bed. I dislike drinking water but it's the only thing that has worked for me. I try to take four swallows each time. One needs to be emptied before noon and the other before bedtime. I also drink milk, decaffeinated coffee. My skin is an indication of why I am dehydrated so I keep an eye on that. I use Eliminate herbal remedy daily or I get constipated no matter what.

Russell, I have the same problem and all I can say is drink until you feel like you are gonna float away. And sometimes even that doesn't work for me. The joys of Parkinsons Devil

That is, unfortunately, the opposite of what I've been experiencing this week. I do know that hydration is essential to healthy digestion and BMs. I know there are various apps in Google Play Store on Androids that help you track water intake. What I don't know is what's the difference. I also know that prune juice works more gently on your system than OTC stool softeners and other constipation meds. Good luck and Bless You Russell 💖

Staying hydrated is important for managing Parkinson's symptoms. While there isn't one specific water tracking app that stands out above others, what matters most is finding one that's easy for you to use consistently. Here are some tips for tracking water intake:

• Use a medication tracking app that also includes water tracking features
• Set regular reminders on your phone's built-in timer
• Keep a reusable water bottle with marked measurements
• Track water intake alongside your medication schedule
• Use a simple notepad or calendar to mark glasses consumed If you're comfortable using smartphones, downloading a dedicated hydration tracking app can be helpful. The key is choosing one that fits into your daily routine and medication schedule. Consider discussing your hydration needs with your healthcare provider to determine the right daily water intake goal for your specific situation.
