Caused the problem? and is there any help to correct the problem- medicine or?
Hope it goes well. Xx
Yes, as a youngster I had a “lazy eye” which often leads to diplopia (double vision) as an adult, and I have that- so yes I have had a prism in my ocular prescription. My optometrist said my cataracts are progressing so I will have cataract surgery.
You can also have prisims made up to corret the double vision issue in you spectacles.
Well, had the cataract surgery/ L-eye 5/13, R-eye 5/27. Went very well. Full general anesthesia to prevent movement due to Parkinson’s disease. Follow up a new ocular prescription and the vision is much better (clearer). But I also have dry macular degeneration so it is not perfect and will continue to downgrade. I have taken one Preservision daily for 30 years (now AREDS 2) to reduce the onset since this is common in my family. I now take the eye supplement at full dose- two daily.
I did. Dr Dotterweich my optometrist said it is due to cataracts getting more dense (opaque) so next is the ophthalmologist surgeon.
