It sounds like you're experiencing multiple symptoms at once, which is very common with Parkinson's disease. Many people living with this condition deal with a combination of motor symptoms (like tremors, stiffness, or balance issues) and non-motor symptoms (such as fatigue, sleep problems, mood changes, or cognitive difficulties).
The phrase "and plus some" really resonates because Parkinson's often comes with an unpredictable mix of challenges that can vary from day to day. You might be dealing with several symptoms simultaneously, and that can feel overwhelming.
Here are some steps that might help:
* Keep a symptom journal to track patterns and identify which symptoms are most troublesome
* Share your complete symptom picture with your movement disorder specialist or neurologist
* Prioritize which symptoms impact your quality of life most
* Consider that medication adjustments might help address multiple symptoms
* Explore complementary approaches like physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech therapy
Remember that managing multiple symptoms often requires a team approach and personalized treatment plan. What works varies from person to person, so open communication with your healthcare team is essential.

Hi Bean, do what you need to survive if it's rest, then rest. It's not a waste of time if you need it. It is actually work for some of us to rest. It is for me. Have a happy THANKS GIVING

my worst parkinson symptom is the extreme tiredness from 2 to 5 in the afternoon.. During this time my body just wants to lay down relax and not move. I feel like this is such a waste of time where I could be doing something. Such a waste. I hate this disease!! Bean
