That’s how I knew something was wrong. I was shuffling. My left leg was dragging behind me and my arm didn’t swing on the left side. My hand always seemed to be cupped by my side.

Compression socks seem to fit people with perfect legs. I’m 4’11” with fleshy legs. My legs swell up from above my knees to the end of my toes. Even specially made compression socks bunch up on me and painfully cut into my skin around my knees. I tried a lower body compression garment last year on a flight I took and experienced way too much pain. I love my body shape but can’t find anything comfortable.

My husband has the swelling and pitting but can’t manage to get on compression socks. Doctor doesn’t seem to betoo concerned after a lot of testing

Have you tried compression socks? My Neurologist believes in them for a number of reasons.

Yes I get swelling and pain in my right foot mostly, but I attribute this to gout because prednisone will alleviate the swelling and the pain almost as soon as I have taken it.
