I've had too many surgeries on my feet for "hammer toes". These surgeries lasted awhile. Recently, The tendon in one toe has been cut, That pain relief lasted about two days, although this was also to prevent infection. I have been using Lamb's wool to protect my toes and prevent pain. I'm not a doctor, so I'm not suggesting that surgery was a solution.
